RDI – Recommended Daily Intake – this is the daily dose of the nutrient, which is considered to meet all the needs of the healthy individuals. However, the exact requirements depend on the gender, the age, the state of health … Therefore, the values stated above are for informational purposes only.
UL – Tolerable Upper Intake Level - a dose of a certain nutrient, which most probably does not represent any risk and side effects for the majority of people in a certain population. If there are no sufficient data, which indicate problems connected to an excessive consumption, the UL is not set.

Wheatgrass juice is an extremely strong detoxifier and for that reason you can expect some side effects. First of all you could feel a little bit nauseous right after the consumption. But do not worry, this is just a reaction to toxins that
start to release in the body.
However, this is the main reason why you should start to drink smaller amounts of wheat grass juice, for instance 1 oz (0.30 dl) daily. You can increase the quantity gradually, with time, even up to 4 oz (1.2 dl) a day.
In any case you must observe your reactions closely and act accordingly. Without a doubt, health benefits of wheatgrass juice are undeniable, but you must give your body enough time to adapt to them.
You must be aware of the fact that wheatgrass drink is very potent. Because of that most people end up consuming 2 oz (0.6 dl) of wheat grass juice daily. What is also important is cold mechanically grinding so that wheatgrass is not exposed to high temperatures, which could destroy some of the nutrients.
