My Gift to Mom CHRISTMAS 1944 or 1945
by William Teague
My dad gave me a quarter to find mom something for Christmas and the only thing I could find was the juicer and it was .26. I was upset because I only had a quarter, my sisters to the rescue with the other penny.
I was about seven so I wasn't a good shopper but I really liked what I saw. Mom passed away in 2006 and the juicer came back down the ladder to me and I was pleased to give it a home.
I remember we used it a lot and really a lot at holidays. It has never broken, it works very good and I have looked at all web sites and don't find one just like it. By the way, it was made in (as it says) AMERICA. What a great country..........
